Lysbutikken is a Norwegian online store and supplier of everything one needs in lighting. They had good experience with digital marketing, especially Search Engine Optimization, but wanted even better results. We saw that Lysbutikken.no had great potential to increase sales in the online store by spearheading the strategy for digital marketing. We assisted with our expertise on Google Ads, which resulted in increased revenue.

Solution

After an analysis of previous online marketing activities and potential in the Lysbutikken segment, we found that there was a lot to gain.


We focused on Google Ads, and first tested out Google SEARCH. We didn't get the results we wanted, so we decided to change our strategy to focus on Google Shopping. We assisted the client's web agency to set up the Shopping feed properly before we started advertising. For an online store, it is common to measure the effect of advertising by looking at how much revenue the advertising is generating (in the professional language it is called ROAS). Therefore, in this context, it was natural for us to direct the ads to the best possible ROAS. In the first few months we spent a lot of time optimizing and finding the best strategies. After four months, we were stable at 14 in ROAS, and the customer has increased sales significantly and found a new channel that generates a lot of sales!
